    Pfflowd (unsuported pfsync version 0, exiting)

      Hello I have just installed pfsense on our router. Im trying to get pfflowd to run however when I run it manaually I get

      pfflowd -i rl0 -n 10.0.0.6:9996 -d
      pfflowd[56456]: pfflowd listening on rl0
      pfflowd[56456]: Unsupported pfsync version 0, exiting

      im running:
      1.2.3-RELEASE
      built on Sun Dec 6 23:21:36 EST 2009

      Any ideas?

        Tried installing pfflowd today on a 1.23 Release pfSense box, but it seems to not start.  I checked on the official website and found that pfflowd v .7 only supports "pfsync(8) v.3"… Now, I'm not real familiar with pfSense, but I expect that since pfflowd v. 7 was released way back in 2007, pfSense has probably moved on to a newer version of pfsync...

        Can anyone confirm, or give us any other insight?  I'd love to be able to export netflow data from pfSense to Scrutinizer...

          So, perhaps someone is working on this already…  The original poster hasn't commented back, though...  Hoping that we can get that code in the community so we can all benefit from it.
