Latest update doesn't update packages

Normally after updating and the first call of System - Status (dashboard) the package-updater is called.
With the update from today (built on Tue Jul 13 02:31:55 EDT 2010) that doesn't happen.

I noticed this as well, but looking back at the commit log I don't see anything that would have changed this behavior.

That may be a desirable thing for the time being, annoys me to reinstall packages every time when you upgrade your systems several times a month. Normally yeah it should do that though.
