64-bit 2.0 images have been available for a while now but have had some issues. Many of them should be straightened out, but more testing is really needed.

If anyone has a 64-bit capable system (and can do without most of the packages yet :-) and wants to give them a try, feedback would be welcome.

        Hi Jimp,

I just upgraded from a May release to Sunday's (071810) snapshot, and all is well.   Features being used include

        5 interfaces
2 interfaces for Dual WAN (priority 1 and 2 in the gateway group)
2 interface LAGG on the lan side.
1 interface reserved for public wifi (currently not in use..)

        • firewall rules are using the gateway group.
        • Widgets on the homepage
        • Growl Notifications
        • Email Notifications

Some issues we are having include

        • Traffic graphs not all being drawn in widget.
        • our smtp server is on the internet, so when the default gateway drops, notifications don't get sent.  (at least I think that's what we're seeing.
        • The earlier version seemed to leak memory with the layer 7 filtering.  I'm hopeful to try some of that again to force streaming protocols over our secondary connection, but that will have to wait a few weeks till I get back from vacation. (no big changes this week!)

The notifications are a known issue, as they are a service which originates from the system itself. I'm not sure if there will be an easy way to automatically balance in this way, but you should be able to setup some floating rules to get the job done.

Not sure about L7, but I have a vague recollection of a leak being fixed.

I haven't seen the traffic graphs issue, but I only have a simple wan/lan VM setup

I just spend an hour walking the rest of my team through the changes I made last night, and the graphs worked fine on Windows / Firefox.  I'm using OSx and Safari..

We're probably just going to build a smarthost on the lan that can forward admin mail for all local servers to our smtp server.
