I was playing with 2.0 BETA 4 today and I found that the installer only asked me for WAN interface, not the LAN interface anymore.

I can access the WebGUI through WAN port, but WebGUI was dead after I tried to enable LAN interface.

Is there a way to setup LAN interface during installation process for pfSense 2.0?

It should prompt you to assign WAN, LAN, and any OPTs during the install process automatically.

Some work was done on the console code this week though - can you try a snapshot from a couple days ago and see if it behaves differently?

I just booted up today's snapshot and it asked me for WAN, LAN, and OPT interfaces as expected.
