Hi, I'm trying to access my pfsense 2.0 box via SCP, to download the new themes as a base to new ones I want to develop.

Following the old guidelines, I logged in with the root user, with no success. When I verified via SSH, the root user is starting with the same menu as the admin user, despite having different configuration in the /etc/passwd file.

Someone knows how can I get into the filesystems remotely?

(I would also like an explanation or link on the changes in authentication between 1.2.3 and 2.0)

      Thanks for your help.

scp works fine when you connect as root. The menu does come up when you login as root but the root account is not locked into that menu the way the admin user is.
