RFC 2136 Dynamic DNS not working (1.2.3-NanoBSD)
-
I am trying to set up RFC 2136 dynamic DNS updates on an embedded system, but it won't seem to update the IP.
I am using DynDNS.com and they do support these type of updates. I got the TSIG information from the DynDNS account but it isn't working in pfSense. When I manually do an update with nsupdate in the shell, as described here, the update works fine.
The system logs don't show anything so I don't have a lot to go on.

can you try it in 2.0 and see if it works? I know it works in full installs in 2.0, and nanobsd shouldn't be any different for that.

I don't have any systems set up for 2.0 right now, but I'll see if I can deploy something to test.
I also confirmed the same problem with 1.2.3 on a full install, if that helps.

I can confirm that RFC 2136 DDNS updates in the latest 2.0 beta don't work either. I see nothing in the log file either.
I am able to manually update when I SSH and do a manual " nsupdate -d" to update the record.
