Update doesn't work

Hi,

when I'm trying to update to a new version, nothing is happening:

A new version is now available

Current version: Wed Mar 24 09:56:45 EDT 2010
New version:    Thu Sep  2 23:07:04 EDT 2010

Update source:  http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD_RELENG_8_1/i386/pfSense_HEAD/.updaters

after downloading the update-file, hes doing a reboot. But the current version doesn't change.

Does somebody know this problem ?

Auto update was broken way back then. Do a manual firmware update or a console update by url.
