      Hi.
Can I install the pfSense hard disk version on an Alix system with Compact Flash?
I wish to do it because I would install Ntop and some other packages that cannot be installed on an embedded system.
      Could you help me please?

      Thank you very much!
      Bye.

If you want to add a Harddisk to an ALIX for the packages, why don't you install a full version directly to the harddisk?
Yes on some alix boards the header for 44pin Harddisks is soldered on.
It shouldn't be a problem to connect a 2.5" HD there.

We do what we must, because we can.

          Sorry, I wrong explained myself.
I have an embedded system with Compact Flash, and I would install the full version of pfSense to use packages like Ntop.
The system is an Openvox system with 1 GHz processor and 1 GHz of RAM…
