      I was wondering on what HEAD version is whether this is for devoloping feture or this will adventually be a version and when it maybe a version.

        Features of the HEAD version will be backported to the next version(s) sooner or later. However which feature will appear in which version is not decided yet. Running HEAD is not  recommended as it is under full developement with lots of not too well tested new features.

            Actually this is not entirely true.  HEAD will likely become 2.0.  We will branch a tree soon then start working on cleaning up the bug and the release from that branch just as we did for 1.0.

              OK thanks guys for the info and your good work.  Just to mention that last time I tested HEAD it didn't dial PPPOE anymore like the current versions do.

                If there's help wanted / needed for testing head, I'd be happy to help.
                If there a little fixes needed, I'm now more into helping with this than I was before…

                  No, continue to focus on 1.0 bugs.    HEAD is in bad shape ATM.
