Update fails

With the update from today that update seems to fail: I have now since one hour "Updating in progress", whatever page of pfsense i try to reach. What can i do to get rid of this? Maybe a manual update via console?

Was this on a full install or NanoBSD?
If you can get to the console, there should be an upgrade log in /conf/

Again i have that strange update…
As you can see, the upgrade started 01:43 (local time, last night), now at 17:12 its still in progress, according to the web-IF and the log.
Its a full install (i386), here the upgrade.log.txt.
All functions seem to be ok since now.
Update: Now, at 17:22 the update ended with a restart of pfSense. What I've seen was an ended but open ssh-session, say i exited the session, but the corresponding window didn't close. After closing that window update terminated.

Hmm, I still haven't seen anything like this happen elsewhere. Not much useful in that log, it seems to think it's still running but isn't.
If this were nanobsd/embedded, I'd suspect a full image was uploaded instead of an upgrade image.
