I had just finished setup my DUAL WAN Pfsense with 2.2mbps on WAN1 and a 1.3mbps on OPT1.

Do i really need to load balance the two ISP? Will load balacing improve my internet connections and its stability?

    Thanks!

You don't have to load balance if you don't want to. However, if you just do failover, that second WAN won't see any usage at all.

You could choose to route certain services over the OPT WAN if you want, or do a complete balancing, or even just a normal failover. It's up to you.

The advantage is that you can use both WANs for outgoing connections, instead of only using one. It would seem faster for most users, since they wouldn't all be sharing a single connection.
