for some time now I am getting a SSL error when I come to log into the web management portal.
in crome it start's with "The site's security certificate is not trusted!", but I also get it in orht browsers.I am sure there is a way to fix it using the Certificate Authority Manager but how ??

That is normal since the WebUI uses a self-signed certificate. The only way around that would be to pay for a "real" certificate and use that to run the WebGUI.
Most people are happy with just using the free self-signed certificate and do not bother with anything more.

I think that part of the problem is that the server identifying itself as Common Name - emailAddress=Email Address, CN=Common Name (eg, YOUR name), OU=Organizational Unit Name (eg, section), O=CompanyName, L=Somecity, ST=Somewhere, C=US

Try installing CA certificate of the server in Your browser.
In Windows -> Control Panel -> Internet Options -> search for Certificates
