      Hi,

I have a Soekris box running as pfSense on a 4GB CF card (nov 17th version).  Works fine as far as I can tell.  I inserted a 250GB hard drive in the box in addition to the CF card, to be used as the data store for the TFTP package.  At least that was the point.

I cant find any info on that drive in pfSense. Its like its not there.  Is what I am trying even possible?  Do I need to format the HD in a certain way before its usable for this purpose?

Any docs anywhere on that? (yes I did google it, but those terms bring up alot of irrelevant info)

Secondary storage is not supported, it won't automatically pick it up or use it any way.

If you know your way around a BSD system you could fdisk/newfs/etc the drive and put it in fstab, but you'd have to re-add the entry after any upgrades.

I think fstab does survive upgrades.

Yeah, I think fstab customizations are carried over even on the nanobsd images, since it appears to just copy it over and modify it with sed.
