      I have multiple opt interfaces, the ones which are a vlan won't dhcp with the captive portal on.
      If i add the client computer to the mac pass through list, then it will dhcp normally.

      I updated the firmware from a September snapshot to the latest of 26-11, the behavior is the same.
      Am i missing something ?

          In the last two snapshots the captiveportal doesn't seem to work at all.
          the service is running, but clients don't get routed to the captive page.

              added the line 611:  $ips = "";
              changed the line 620 : $ips = "{ 255.255.255.255 or {$ips} }";

              now clients connection times out.  ???

                I am having the same exact problem.  I have multiple vlans on one trunk line into the pfsense box and the guest wireless access is not able to show the captive portal page.
                The page is timing out on any of our wireless clients with the above changes made.

                    All captive portal related items seem to be working great for me here at home.  I will try the upload at work and see if I recieve any phone calls.

                      Ok, after installing the 1 dec snapshot, captiveportal seems to be working again.
                      Only 1 problem the hard timeout setting appears not to work.
                      Don't know if it has been addressed in further snapshots.

                        Why do you say hard timeout does not work?!
                        Either give logs and proof of what you say or do not bother!
