Update OpenDNS with my Dynamic IP?

Which version of pfSense?

I'm using OpenDNS with a Dynamic IP. My IP doesn't change that often, about 2 times a year. So when my IP changes I just go to the site and manually update. If your IP changes often then you are going to have to install a client. I don't see any way around it.
I have a regular VDSL line, so the ip changes every day…

Well, thanks. I know how to update DynDNS for example, but that doesn't help update the IP on OpenDNS…

Oh sorry m8. Didn't see that OpenDNS was in there. Thanks! Will check it out…

I had recently the same question how to update dynamic IP Adresses in pfsense with OpenDNS / DNS-O-Matic and I didn't find any solution unless the following changes in the version control repository of pfSense.
http://redmine.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense/repository/revisions/52e6fdfdaebeb754c5a6029c5a801756a7f9c835
These changes are basically adding support for OPENdns but unfortunately the look and feel of the Dynamic DNS page was changed and the user/password is transmitted directly in the URL what didn't work in my case because of some special characters. So I did some changes on the scripts and they are working fine in the stable 1.2.3 release of pfSense. The solution is working perfect and the IP address is updated as soon as it is changed. I know that you are working with the 2.0 beta but maybe the files can be used in your case also. I changed the following (attached) files /usr/local/www/services_dyndns.php and /etc/inc/dyndns.class. You have to remove the .txt extensions. Attachments with .class and .php are not allowed.
I hope this was helpfull
