Is the file server for pfsense down? files.pfsense.org
-
Hi,
Anyone else experiencing problems installing packages because files.pfsense.org is down or not responding?
I can't install anything on my box, and it has been like this the whole day (around 10 hours)! -
Hi

This was causing me a giant of headace :P -
Some of the packages seem to still be missing for pfsense 2.0?
I can reach the files.pfsense.org page and traverse the directory but many of the packages are missing from the /8 folder.
-
same problem ,
packages after freeswitch are missing for this location http://files.pfsense.org/packages/8/All/
-
seems like most files are back again,
however nut-2.2.2_3 is still missing -
Ok, a new version of nut is there but neon29-0.29.5 is missing such that the nut package won't install
-
Can you try this again?
The package server was on the fritz so it was switched to a different mirror and we had to rebuild a significant amount of the package binaries.
-
Is the packages server up again now ?
cause I am trying now using version 1.2.3 and 2.0Beta4 both can not connect to the update server.

Package installation fails as neon is missing
Downloading nut and its dependencies…
Checking for package installation...
nut-2.2.2_5 (extracting)
expat-2.0.1_1 already installed.
openssl-1.0.0_3 (extracting)
pkg-config-0.25_1 already installed.
libiconv-1.13.1_1 already installed.
gettext-0.18.1.1 already installed.
neon29-0.29.5 could not download.
of nut-2.2.2_5 failed! -
How odd, I see that it built neon onto the system but it did not make a package for it. I'll look into it.
-
Try it again now

Awesome. Not sure why, but on i386 it would not automatically make a neon package. I made it by hand. amd64 built and uploaded it automatically.
