Lighttp web server access files????
-
hello,
i want to access a directory in /usr/var/www/
thats, i think, the document-root directory of lighttp
i want to make pictures avaible over browser http in lan
can someone explain me how?
-
Try using the vhosts package. That creates a new instance of lighttpd and document root for each 'host' you create. You can then add your pictures and scripts there. There's not much documentation though! ::)
Also be aware that using your firewall as a webserver is not a good idea from a security standpoint.Steve

The directory is /usr/local/www for the webserver.

(security is true!!! ;))but first that way with only lighttpd
my document-root is /usr/local/www/
but when i put something in....
i get error 404 file not foundi have f.e. created a directory "error-pages"
and there is in: pngs, jepgs and so onbut how can access this files over browser??????
i have in my lighty-webconfigurator.conf
server.dir-listing = "enable"
but no access????
please help me out -
lighty conf is generated on boot. Just use DRindex http://www.templatesurge.com/files/DRIndex.zip drop the index.php in the folder you create in /usr/local/www
or use Simple Picture Gallery Manager -
