Widentd package broken - Please confirm

The package seems to be broken. On a fresh and clean pfsense installation I install the widentd package but the service does not start.

If I log in via SSH and do a ps -A|grep widentd the daemon does not appear to be running.
If I start it manually from /usr/local/sbin/widentd -u myusername it works.

Can somebody please confirm this?

Did you already enable it in the rc.d file?  Make sure the enable flag is set to YES and not NO
