      Hi all,

I have a setup with a wireless accesspoint connected to one interface on a pfSense box, and another interface connected to the internet. When clients connect, they are redirected to my captive portal, and asked to enter a voucher, after which they will be granted internet access for 8 hours. After one of the previous updates, this no longer works.
Now, clients are no longer redirected to the capture portal, but are also not granted access. If they enter the direct URL for the capture portal, they can enter their voucher and get access, but once this is done, no-one else needs to enter their voucher, everyone just gets imediate access.

Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions on how to rectify this?

      Best regards
      Andreas

it's set to automaticly update, and states that I am on the latest version. Is this because of some structure in the updates?

            Hey guys,
            I have the same problem.
I just downloaded the version Current version: 2.0-BETA4 Built On: Tue Dec 21 11:37:22 EST 2010 and started PFSense via LifeCD.
The captive portal is only accessable, when I enter IP+Port.

By the way…I have problems installing the BETA4 version on my harddisk via the LiveCD - is it not ready for installation via the CD?

            Thanks,

            Malte
