      Hi,

I have two PPPoE interfaces to the same ISP (under different brands, but still). Both connections have the same gateway, DNS servers, etc.

I can bring up each one individually and it works fine, but I can't bring them up at the same time. The second one will not do the PPP handshake sucessfully.

Please let me what other information would be useful, if any. I'm pretty new with pfSense.

Is this a bug? It should be supported right? Thanks.

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention I'm using PfSense 2.0-BETA5 (i386).

The underlying software cannot bring up two PPPoE connections that have the same gateway IP. In that scenario, I've had some ISP's willing to change the second connection to a separate subnet so that doesn't occur. That's the only option to accommodate that by having both PPPoE configs on the firewall itself. Otherwise you'll have to do PPPoE on the modem for one of them.

Bummer… hard to say which sucks less between my ADSL router and my ISP's customer support.

          Thanks for your help.  :)
