New install on HD

Hi i am new in installing PfSense.

How do i install a PfSense on my new ALIX Card 2D13 with a 2.5" HD

I planning to run Beta 2.0

I would advise you to use embedded on ALIX (on a CompactFlash card), as it has no VGA connection to do the full install.

the only way to do it in this case is to install it on an HD in another computer and move it to the alix. you will have to make sure that you keep the boot settings (install it on master with no other drives) otherwise it wont boot.
after you have done this, go to the web gui and enable the serial output.
