I apologize if this is a duplicate post but i couldnt find anything directly related to this. have a cable modem currently configured for 15mb down 2 mb up.
If i bypass the pf sense box and plug into my router directly (natted) I get around 14.8 down and 1.7 up. when connected to PF Sense via switch it lags and then bursts to around 95mb down and 5 up. (i wish right ) i am unsure if this is HAVP antivirus scanning the "download" before it actually does the test or if this is a glitch. when i was running 1.23 the speed tests were fine. same box same setup at home. Please let me know if you need more data .

Have you tried the speed test without HAVP enabled? If not, try that. Being that 2.0 is in beta, packages can break quickly as they are not updated right away.

I have a 50/5 cable modem and below are my results from a my ISP speedtest site. Mind you this speedtest website is only a couple of hops away from the UBRs that control the cable modem. I'm running 2.0-BETA5 (i386) built on Fri Jan 28 05:30:15 EST 2011. As far as packages, i'm running snort and a couple of others but they wouldn't effect the speed.

        Last Result:
Download Speed: 48810 kbps (6101.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 5045 kbps (630.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
