Strange gateway-terror (i386 and AMD64)
-
I'm expieriencing a strange gateway-terror which now exists in similar way since months, but now with a new install i can say, its not my previous install, which was culprit (I installed some external BSD-ports)
Now my install is a clean install without any packages.
First thing is that after adding gateways to the dashboard, it doesn't show any gateway. I have one gateway, which is wan.
On the status - gateways-page there is no gateway too!after reboot in the log i have this entries:
Sep 9 09:23:29 kernel: em0: link state changed to UP
Sep 9 09:23:27 apinger: No usable targets found, exiting
Sep 9 09:23:27 apinger: Starting Alarm Pinger, apinger(15526)
Sep 9 09:23:27 last message repeated 3 times
Sep 9 09:23:27 php: : Could not find gateway for interface(wan).
Sep 9 09:23:27 kernel: pflog0: promiscuous mode enabled
Sep 9 09:23:27 kernel: Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1aNow i go to system - routing, open the dynamic gateway and hit "save", without changing anything.
Back to dashboard: nothing
Status - Gateways - nothing
Status - System-Logs:Sep 9 09:31:35 apinger: Starting Alarm Pinger, apinger(22030)
Sep 9 09:31:35 check_reload_status: reloading filter
Sep 9 09:31:35 php: /system_gateways.php: ROUTING: change default route to 195.14.226.7Now back to Status - gateways: WAN-gateway is there!
Status - dashboard: Gateway there.Ok. But some hours later, gateways disappear, dashboard shows the gateway as offline even when the internet is online, i reach all external sites.
Doing the same things than before shows the gateways again. (Exact with the here mentioned things my quality-graph is doing strange things too http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,26681.0.html)
