        got a solution from mailing list ,

        please change the following lines

        /usr/local/pkg/squid.inc: line 896:

        FROM  $conf .= 'reply_body_max_size ' . ($down_limit * 1024) . " allow all\n";

        TO          $conf .= 'reply_body_max_size ' . ($down_limit * 1024) . " deny all\n";

        Then configure and save again !

        its working fine for me

          I think someone checked that fix into the package repo as well, so if you reinstall the package it may be working there now, too, without editing any files.

            Reinstalled squid today and the package isn't fixed. Still have to make the change manually.

              I double checked and it had not been committed. I just pushed the fix in and if you reinstall squid in about 5 minutes it should be OK now.

                      I've installed it and the line "reply_body_max_size" says deny as it should. Thanks jimp.
