Guys I have a question about the Pfsense dynamic dns client. How do you go about uopdating multiple hostnames for example lets say you have example.com as your domain and you want vpn.example.com, web.example.com, and apps.example.com I only have one ip but I prefer separate hostnames? I used to run DDWRT and this was very simple to accomplish.

If you're updating DynDNS.com or somebody that uses the same protocol simply separate the hosts with a comma, for example vpn.example.com,web.example.com,….

In 2.0 you can setup multiple dyndns instances of any type/combination among the supported choices. So you can have it update as many as you want.

I think (but don't quote me on this) that the fit-1.2.3 package may have some enhanced dyndns functionality in it. I haven't tried it, but it's there.
