Does the avahi package work in 2.0? I just upgraded and it loads fine in the system log with zero errors but no longer seems to be actually working.

You might try to force all the packages to reinstall again (Diagnostics > Backup/Restore, hit the button at the bottom). There should be some log output from Avahi in the system log, even when it is working.
