Do Not Update to April 8th's Snapshot (amd64)

Upgraded and got a working network but no access to the GUI with the following error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /usr/local/www/head.inc on line 11

Jimp has a commit to fix a copy/paste error on head.inc but that is on line 10, dont know if that resolves the above error.

I am having trouble as well. Both April 7th and 8th snapshots have completely shut down all TCP traffic through the wan. LAN is fine but internet access is completely shut off. UDP seems to be working fine. I am able to use the internet via another router. I can access the GUI. The GUI cannot access update server. I have reset to factory settings but still and issue. I have never had a problem until this update.

Same here, no luck accessing Internet, seems like the problem is connected to resolv.conf because if I add google dns manually in the file I can do lookups and access the web. Still, something else is causing problems too as logs are flooded with "no buffer space" and DHCP-client error messages.

Upgraded to the 10:00 i386 update and it wouldn't get any webpages, but I could connect via pptp and downloaded the April 6 23:30 update and I am back up and running.

Same here for i386. Had working LAN interface and a WAN that could obtain DHCP from provider but no connectivity from LAN to WAN.

Same thing happened with i386 snapshot on the 7th. For some reason it wasn't getting DNS IPs from DHCP on the WAN port. Lucky my site to site IPSEC VPN was working so I used the remote PC to download the previous snapshot and able to update it that way.

This didn't make me very happy but I understand people make mistakes and still under RC phase right now so I took a risk to update it. No harm done long as I was able to load a different snapshot on it.

Bummer. Was about to update the 32 and 64 bit versions of Pfsense but it appears both are screwed up.

ALWAYS appears to be weekend hell for updates - especially when the in-house D.J. releases a new track ::)

Please someone report back next week when the releases are stable.

Fixes were committed for the DHCP issue on Saturday at noon so most of this weekend's snapshots should have been fine (unless you have bce NICs…)
