Multiple subnets on LAN
-
I know the 1.2.3 doc works for this in 2.0 (http://doc.pfsense.org/multiple-subnets-one-interface-pfsense.pdf) as I just finished trying it.
The only thing I'm wondering is in the doc it says the 1.3 GUI will be able to do this. Obviously we never got to 1.3, I'm wondering if there is a way to do this in 2.0 via the GUI?

As far as I know - and I think it is somewhere written on the pfsense.org start page - 1.3 gets renamed to 2.0.

That's what I figured but didn't want to assume.
Still wondering if there's a way to do this directly in the GUI.

Yes.
Create a virtual IP of "alias" type.Damn wouldn't you know I just came here to post that I got it.
I was staring right at the "IP Alias" the whole time but never checked it.
After getting the IP what I had to do was define a gateway entry that pointed to that alias IP, then set a route for the subnet to use that gateway. Finally obviously is adding a LAN rule to allow the networks to talk to each other.
Thx Gruens.
