      Something other than a loooooooong lists.  Maybe grouping of some sort in a collapse-able tree or something of that nature.

        i made a request just like this back in november 2010  (http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,30093.0.html)

        hope this will be attempted, its quite nessessary imho.

        since writing that post ive got around 60 or so rules per interface.

        its messy.

          By using aliases and such, usually it isn't necessary to have such a long list of rules. Are you sure there isn't any way you could be simplifying your ruleset to be shorter?

          Any changes like those mentioned in the other thread would be too large for 2.0, so it would be 2.1 at the earliest, if that.
