I have a pfSense 1.2.3 configured on an alix box and the problem I am having is that my manual outbound NAT rules are splitting my internet connection.  I have 3 manual Outbound NAT rules, they were set up ages ago and it is configured for our failover internet.  I have a virtual IP that points at 2 IP's on the firewalls and I NATed the physical IP of each to a static address as well as NATed it to the virtual address.  Essentially one of them has 192.168.2.1 the second 192.168.2.2 and a virtual 192.168.2.3 all NAT to say 73.1.1.50 …..  Logistically this seems like a problem and it should only be pointed at the virtual.  Can anyone just verify for me that I should just be pointing at the virtual address.

So I attempted to disable the 2 NAT rules to the physical static addresses and I am still having the problem, I am using Manual AON and when i change it to Auto IPSec passthrough i get the speeds back…. It is only affecting download speeds not upload.
