      Hello!

      Running pfsense  1.2.3-RELEASE appliance in a VMWARE session on a win2008 r2-machine.

I have a small issue regarding DHCP on the WAN-interface.

I'm getting this in the system log all the time:
      "Nov 15 20:14:30    dhclient[1801]: SENDING DIRECT
      Nov 15 20:18:13    dhclient[1801]: DHCPREQUEST on le1 to 90.130.64.38 port 67
      Nov 15 20:18:13    dhclient[1801]: SENDING DIRECT
      Nov 15 20:25:26    dhclient[1801]: DHCPREQUEST on le1 to 90.130.64.38 port 67
      Nov 15 20:25:26    dhclient[1801]: SENDING DIRECT
      Nov 15 20:29:20    dhclient[1801]: DHCPREQUEST on le1 to 90.130.64.38 port 67
      Nov 15 20:29:20    dhclient[1801]: SENDING DIRECT"

Is this something to be worried about?

It seems that the router wants to get a new lease all the time?

What DHCP lease time does the server specify?

If the server responded to the DHCP request I would expect it to be logged. (But the absence of a log entry doesn't mean the server isn't responding)? Is the server responding? If not, why not?

Seems that this error ocurred because of I forgot to disable the "Open WAN Rule" that comes with the appliance.
Disabled it and now the error doesn't appear anymore.
