      Hello.

on my pfsense router, i have this kind of crash several times a day (see screenshot).

is there a way to fix it ?

At least, is there a way that the router restart automaticly (or the computer reboot) each times it crash ?

      thank you for your help.

That seems like a driver issue.

          Thank you for your answer.

Is there any way to find out the issue?

Or that the computer reboots each time this happens ?

          Thank you

Fastest way is to replace that network card. dc(4) driver do seem to be faulty in some cases, that is also my own experience with them. http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Policy_on_FreeBSD_issues

              thanks for your help.

dc0 is the lan card.  but i don't use lan. i use only wan and wlan.

if i deactive the lan (dc0) on the assign page, is it the same than taking it out of the pc ?

              thank you

Looks like you are using a wireless USB with Ralink chipset (run driver). What snapshot build are you using?

                    I'm using 2.0-RC2-IPv6  (i386) built on Sat May 21 21:38:32 EDT 2011

My run0 (Tenda W311U) is in Access Point mode. I think I've seen crashes at the PC reported in your original post but I can't recall the circumstances. I've also been testing captive portal on the box using the Tenda and I saw crashes from time to time so I switched to a different wireless device to see if it made a difference. I was suspecting an interaction between captive portal and using the run device. I'll switch back to using the run device for my wireless link and see what happens.

                      thank you.

i have deactivated the dc0 lan in the interface page, but i still have crashes several times a day…

                      if someone have a fix....

                      thank you...
