Squid + Squidguard = Logmein not working

Hello,

We have a small network with a few computers and Pfsense running. For remote access the users have logmein installed on all the computers this way they can access their computers from home. When I have Squid running as a transparent proxy, logmein fails to work. It shows the computer online however, when trying to connect it simply times out.

Any ideas?

Last I heard logmein didn't work through a proxy, at least a transparent one.

Have you tried hardcoding that PC to use the proxy directly in the network settings?

Alternately, you can put the IP/hostname for logmein into the destination bypass field in the proxy config.
