      Hello,
I tried to create a URL Alias  on pfSense 2.0(2.0-RC3 (amd64)built on Mon Jul 4 16:49:48 EDT 2011 )but i get the folowing error:

The following input errors were detected:
You must provide a valid URL. Could not fetch usable data.

      The URL's I tried were like: http://wwww.google.com
I can't figure out  if I'm doing something wrong or there is a problem with pfSense concerning URL aliases

There is often a misunderstanding of this Alias.
You can NOT enter domains like google.com and so on.

You have to enter a URL to file which contains IP-addresses (not domains).

        e.g.
        http://www.fileserver.com/my_url_alias.txt

And the file my_url_alias.txt contains the IP-Addresses you want in this Alias.
If you change my_url_alias.txt then pfsense will do an Update for your alias after some time.

Rosunm, you should also take a look at this thread on how to upgrade past the July 4th snapshot.
