can i use my pfsense installed device as gateway to access Internet?

for example: lets assume we have LAN A and LAN B. and i use the two pfsense installed devices as gateway of each LAN. a user in LAN A can access a user in LAN B, when the VPN is enabled(example ping). but can user A access the outside internet like google.com? how?

Yes it can access internet but how it depends your config
