We tried to run the above WLAN PCI card within 2.0-RC3 (amd64)
built on Fri Jul 15 11:00:18 EDT 20, with no luck.
Does anybody has a hint, if there's an driver available we can include ?

At least one revision of that card appears to have the Ralink RT2860 chipset which is not yet supported in FreeBSD. You'll probably save some trouble if you get a supported card such as the TP-Link TL-WN651G.

          Hi wallabybob,

thanks for your very fast response, I think we'll buy the recommended one.
Is there a URL with recommended hardware for Pfsense, or should I simply look for FreeBSD recommended ?

          great job

You want the FreeBSD supported hardware list. That usually lists supported chipsets and a list of devices containing those chipsets but the lists are often out of date. Wireless devices are often problematic because some manufacturers change the chipset without changing the model. In some cases a particular model might contain one of four different chipsets some of which are supported by FreeBSD and some of which aren't.
