I just tried to log into redmine. My browser usually fills in the details automatically (OS X keychain).

I get a login failure. Strange I think, and I click the "Lost password" link.

I get an e-mail with a link to reset the password. I do so, get back to the login screen, type in the password, and again I get "Invalid user or password".

Well, the user should be valid, because the password reset e-mail lists the login name, and that's the one I'm using.
The password should also be valid, because, well, I just set it.

So I go through the motions again: click lost password link, etc. Just this time I type the password, select it copy it, and then paste it both into the password reset fields, and then later into the login password field.

You guessed it: still "Invalid user or password".

So now, since cut&paste makes no typos, and because the user name is confirmed in the password reset e-mail, I'm pretty sure that both user name and password are correct. I still get the error.

      What's going on?

PS: if there's a better place to post issues like these, let me know…

Not sure, haven't heard of any issues. What's your username? I can't seem to find your account by the email or username you have on here.

Strange, because the system seems to find me, it sends me the password reset link just fine, when I give it my e-mail address, which should be the same that's used to send notifications when forum threads are updated. I can PM that e-mail address to you if that's any help, just don't want to post it where spam bots can harvest it…

Almost looks like I have a zombie account, that's visible to some parts of the software, but not to others.
