Was wondering if people had an opinion of liking or disliking a modification of a few things for widescreens.

EDIT: Everything is set up for a 16x9 display (Mine is 1600x900)

So no one wants to comment on this?  My goal is to fit more on the pages to fill in the empty space.

i haven't tried this package in a while. Does it still need to be un-installed when doing updates?

No it uninstalls and reinstalls when packages are resync'd when you do an update.

I was mainly asking for opinions on how much/if people liked the way everything is displayed to take up more of the open space.  If people like it, I'll submit it into the widescreen package.

I like how it looks in your pics above..    :)

Sweet, I am glad I am getting some responses from people.

@chpalmer - Yeah, it will show somewhat the same on your display.  Might have a bit more of a gap between things, but it will look evenly spaced over the monitor.

Looks great, can you get the package to play nice with the Code-Red Theme?

I would like to create the widescreen package to modify all the themes, but for demo's sake, I am just working on the pfsense-ng theme for now.

How about the the Dashboard? ???

I want to have it in a 3-column layout than the present 2-column.
Your examples are great. It removes a lot of empty spaces.

It is better if you can see all the status in a glance than to scroll either down or up.  ::)

I am working on a lot of stuff for the dashboard.  I would like to have a "add column" "delete column" buttons to the top, so if you would like to add more (within reason of calculation of minimum width of 375 per column) you can add or subtract columns as you please, though I have to edit it so when you take away columns it would regroup them to the currently available columns…if that makes sense
