Shaping, which version works?

Hi All!

Pfsense has been a fantastic product (we now use it at many sites in the embedded form).

We have never successfully been able to get shaping going (there is always a bug with the version in question). Is anyone able to advise of a secure version (ie, not too outdated) in which shaping (and all other core components work?).

the 1.2.3 shaper works fine, but has known limitations which are being fixed in 2.0.  Generally 2.0 is in decent shape although its still considered beta software and shouldn't be run in production without being properly tested for your network requirements.
