      Hello,
      I have 3 connections. I can successfully setup the connections but How can I resolve same-gateway issue?
      My Cable modems directly connected to the Internet(no fw-nat etc). My WiFi behind router.(NIC IP-DMZ)
      1 WiFi and 1 Cable works good. But my second cable modem not works because of same gateway issue.
      Also I did some research this samegateway issue needs expert kernel modification.
      But I also found ClearOS can do it with same-gateway and it's opensource. But I can't leave pfSense and it's flexibility.
      Anyway;

      VMWare configuration;
      LAN(Host only)
      WAN1(cable) > Bridged
      WAN2(cable) > Bridged
      WAN3(WiFi) > Bridged

      I can set static ip like that on Windows;

      WAN

      IP
      -WAN-IP-
      Subnet mask
      255.255.255.0
      Default Gateway
      -Default-WAN-Gateway-
      Default gateway also can be set: 10.0.0.1 (Docsis)

      How can I get the work round-robin?

      Thanks!

        First thing: don't publish your public ip
        Second thing do you really have to use public ip right to client side?
        Or is this server setting?

          No it's not my ip but it's random ip. I edited anyway.
          It's home connection with a lot of clients.
          All I wan't the do; Bridge all connections to pfSense and use round-robin.

            Hi,

            in actual snapshots it is not possible to do LoadBalancing with the same gateway - thats right.
            If there is a need of kernel modification - I do not know.

            But there is a (simple) workaround for this:
            If both of your cable connections are using the same IP than you have to do double NAT with an extra router on on of you two cable connections.

            This would look like this:

            cable1-WAN–--------------------------
                                                                    --pfsense
            cable2-WAN----router with NAT---------/

            So you generate a second gateway between your cable2 modem and pfsense.
            In this extra router just do open the firewall for all ports to pfsense and then there should be no difference in using pfsense.

              Thanks for your answer. I was read this method before.

              Now that's the only way.I'm going to try.
              What do you suggest a light distro just for this method.
              I'm thinking m0n0wall for WAN2 Cable.

              Thanks.

                I am thinking of a small home router like a small d-link, netgear, zyxel, fritz!box, speedport

                Just something really small, quiet, less power consumption.

                  Yes but my cable modems doesn't have advanced firmware. It's like a usb modem. (does not have router function)
                  Do not have NAT-Firewall anything.

                  Thanks.
