      Hi Guys,

I have 2 Internet connections going into a switch. From the switch, patch cable goes into WAN port on PFsense.

I have configured two VLANs for the Internet connections on PFsense and assigned those VLAN's to the WAN interface.

The WAN interface is NOT enabled, but the VLAN interfaces are. Is this correct?

Also, what about outbound NAT? I've noticed that outbound NAT auto rules generation is applied to the WAN port and not the VLAN's assigned to the WAN port. Does this mean, I will have to manually generate my outbound NAT rules? What about Routing issues in relation to IPSec and Openvpn?

I am asking these questions because in addition to having VLANs assigned to the WAN port, there are also VLAN's assigned to the OPT ports. There are also OpenVPN site-to-site connections and SIP phones involved. There could also be outstanding issues or bugs affecting the outcome or lack thereof of any routing configurations.

So, I'd be very grateful for some insight.

      thanks, Jits.
