      Hello,

I have a basic pfSense system running on my home network.  1-WAN, 1-LAN, and 1-OPT1. I have been using Captive Portal to limit Up and Down limits on OPT1, it has been working out great for blanket limiting. I would rather set limits by IP of the Machine or User name connected to OPT1, so each could have a different limit. Is there a way to do this in pfSense?

      Running I386 2.0 RC3 latest update

      Thanks

You can use limiters to do per-IP limits (it's covered in the doc wiki), or if you have a radius server you can use that for authenticating your users and set per-user bandwidth restrictions that way.
