      Hi there

Brand new on the forums. Ive tried searching for a solution, but I cant locate anything to help

I was wondering if someone can confirm if the following would be possible using pfsense and point me in the possible location of what needs to be done, if supported:

Basically Ive just installed a 2nd internet link, Both internet links have approximately the same speed.

      Internet Link #1
Id like to use this link for Bittorrent traffic 24x7 and offsite backup (using Crashplan -TCP:4242)

      Internet Link #2
On the 2nd Id like to use as all other internet browsing and VoIP traffic
However, during 2am to 7am Id like to use that 2nd link also for Bittorrent downloads

      Any ideas?

Thanks so much for reading my post

using scheduler and if you use static port for torrent it may could be done

        like:
scheduled to enable 6am to 6pm torrent traffic to gateway1
scheduled to enable 6pm to 6am torrent traffic to gateway2
what ever trafic and whatever gateways

There might be another way around..

                1. Create a schedule(Firewall:Schedules)
1.1) it must have only half the timing you need. example 6am-6pm
                2. Create a rule(Firewall:Rules:Lan)
2.1) it must have: pass tcp/udp source lan subnet no source port, destination any, destination port 4242 and advanced options: your schedule and gateway the one you want to use
2.2) Set this rule as first rule
                3. Create another rule
3.1) it must have: pass tcp/udp source lan subnet no source port, destination any, destination port 4242 and advanced options: the another gateway
3.2) set this rule as 2nd rule

Let me know how it went

You're putting the cart before the horse buddy.
Did you even figure out how to force bittorrent onto a specific WAN before tackling the schedule?
