I had installation in Pfsense 1.0 times when we ran out of IPs on one submet we had and so we needed to get another subnet for WAN segment. It was tricky to do with PfSense
Is anything different in this respect for 2.0 ? Can I have multiple subnets on WAN ?

It's easy on 2.0. Just use the IP Alias type VIP.
