Is there a good Windows alternative to Pfsense (or Monowall, Zeroshell, etc.)?

        Lol.  :D
Way way way back before IPCop and before Smoothwall I used Wingate (I think) for a while. It used to crash out on my Win 2000 machine because the state table was pathetically small. Clearly it's now a completely different product.

Edit: Actually it could have been WinRoute. I no longer have access to any of the data from that period of my life.  :'(  (backup, backup, backup). At the time I was really impressed with it, except when it crashed while I was playing Counter Strike!

okay, no i don't know any "good" alternatives in same price, maybe some asa or xcore devices would do almost the same job.

Doesn't Windows have this sort of functionality built in these days?
Even windows 2000 had 'internet connection sharing'.

Windows can be a router. It's called Routing And Remote Access and it's available in server 2003 and server 2008.

The question is if it's an alternative to pfsense and the answer is not in a million years. Windows not only costs $$$ but it doesn't have near the functionality of pfsense.
