    Hi, need an information:
is it possible to install pfsense on a machine  and then move the disk with pfsense installed to another machine that hasn't the same architecture? make the disk boot in rescue mode and get the system up and running?

    thanks, kindly regards

If the NICs are the same and the HDD is detected in the same position, it should work without issues.

If the HDD is in a different location (ad2 vs ad4 or ad0) then you'd have to edit /etc/fstab

If the NICs are different they just need reassigned.

I have done this a couple of times.  think jimp has covered all the issue I had.
