My setup is one wan and multiple lans.

Every 5 to 10 minutes there is an entry in system logs.

What is causing this?

You have packet loss on your connections, or at least to your monitor IP.

Could a cheap or a bad NIC be a cause?

It could cause anything weird

I don't have even a glue, what it would be. I haven't seen that kind of error
