Port Sharing 80
-
Hello guys,
I got a question which I'm not able to resolve yet.
As the situation is right now, I got 1 public IP adres. Inside my network there's a Vmware ESX server which runs several copy's of Windows Server 2008.
On one of the Server 2008's, there's IIS running on port 80. On some other copy of Server 2008 (different internal IP) there's a webmail application running on port 83. Since most coporate networks don't allow port 83, I need to switch this to port 80, but still be able to use IIS.
My thought would be like this:
If a user types something like: http://webmail.mydomain.com for example, I need PFsense to redirect it, still on port 80, to the other internal IP rather than IIS's one.
I'm currently using PFsense 2.0 RC-3.
Any help would be appreciated.

HA Proxy, Varnish or any similar reverse proxy/accelerator solution. If you search the forums you'll find various threads.
Oh, and you probably want to update to -RELEASE, which has been out for a few days now.

Thanks for that.
I've been trying to install Varnish aswell as HAproxy.Varnish giving me the following error in log:

My config file:
I don't know how to fix this issue. Any thoughts?
I've tried all the reverse proxy packages that are there. Non of them are working for me.
Thanks in advance

Sorry, I use neither. Try asking the question in the Packages sub-forum.
