      Hello all,

I am attempting to install PFSense.  The installation fails every time at the same place.

If I select Quick/Easy Install it fails immediately with the following message

      Execution of the command
      /sbin/fdisk -v -f /tmp/format.fdisk ad0
FAILED with a return code of 1

If I choose the custom install it all works fine including formatting until I reach partitioning it then says my geometry is no good and suggests an alternate geometry which i accept and move on.

when the partioner starts it lets me choose how much disk space and what type of file system to install i choose the entire disk and FreeBSD  it then fails with the following error

      Execution of the command
      /sbin/fdisk -v -f /tmp/new.fdisk ad0
FAILED with a return code of 1

I thought that maybe there was some sort of incompatibility between FreeBSD and my system so I downloaded FreeBSD and it installed perfectly to a working system in about 15 minutes.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Change some disk options at setup. For example, enable AHCI sata mode.
