      Hi,

I would like to know What is the max number of connections/state/flows that can be support by pfsense?  Thanks.

The only limit is your RAM - the number of active connections is governed by the state table size, and 1 state = 1Kb of RAM.

You can increase the limit under System > Advanced (On the Firewall/NAT tab on 2.0), and you can raise it up higher, just don't set it larger than the amount of RAM you have.

Thanks.  I am always wondering, Can I use the amd iso to run in X64 intel CPU?

Yes, amd64 is just the generic term for FreeBSD's 64-bit architecture. It works on AMD and Intel 64-bit CPUs.

Is there a limit to the amount of RAM that pfSense can address?

              Thx.

The limit is set by 32 or 64 bits architecture, not by pfsense.

32 bits will be 3.5 gb
64 bits will be 120gb (Google told me that ;))
